Google Spotlight Stories (GSS) promotional banners for web advertising, featuring Jan Pinkava (Creative Director), Karen Dufilho-Rosen (Executive Producer), and Rachid El Guerra (Technical Project Lead). Included creators to show real people enjoying GSS in VR and to feature the brains behind the stories. One challenge was to incorporate a Google Spotlight Stories brand which is still under development. The first two banner prototypes are intended for general GSS marketing, and the third banner is for the re-launch of the Spotlight Story Duet. Developed in Adobe Photoshop.
Google Spotlight Stories (GSS) thumbnails with altered graphics from different Spotlight Stories assets and screengrabs from the short films themselves. The first thumbnail features the Duet logo/artwork, and the second two thumbnails feature the Sonaria artwork. Replicating the texture behind the Duet logo was necessary to expanding the artwork to the thumbnail. Sonaria is very popular for its unique art style and these thumbnails feature key scenes from the show. Both now published on YouTube. Developed in Adobe Photoshop.
